The Goingman Camera Collection Cultural Association
The association was officially registered on April 8, 2022 in Villafranca del Bierzo in accordance with the current Spanish legislation regarding its membership and activities.
The purposes of this Association are:
- Create and carry out the necessary associated infrastructures for the opening of a public museum (The Goingman Camera Museum), intended for the exhibition of elements based on a collection of old cameras and photographic equipment of the “The Goingman Camera Collection”.
In close connection to the museum, talks and temporary exhibitions will be scheduled, public relations will be set with possibilities for further expansion and improvement.
- For the fulfillment of the above purposes the association will carry out various recreational, cultural activities and organize events. Use all available form of public relations (verbal, written, media) to gain popularity to achieve its goals. Also create presence and social availability on digital networks through the Internet.
The Founders
Gergely Tichy-Rács
The President of the Association and the founder of the collection. He started collecting cameras since 2005 and acquired knowledge of vintage photography.
Rózsa Benedek
Vice President of the Association. She is a pilgrim and hospitalera with a lot of knowledge about El Camino de Santiago. Big fan of photography.
Brigitta Járvás
Secretary of the Association and leads the administration. She is also responsible for the creative design and organization. Pilgrim since 1994 and hospitalera.

For all the people who donate more than €100 we offer a place to be on The Goingman Camera Museum’s “List of Top Donors”. The list will be displayed on the Museum’s online website and also in The Goingman Camera Museum in Villafranca del Bierzo.
